About F1 in Schools

Overview

According to their website, F1 in Schools is an international STEM challenge aimed at providing an educational and fun experience to students aged 9-19 using the "magnetic appeal of Formula 1". It is a multidisciplinary competition, with students learning engineering, branding, design, physics, marketing, media skills, financial management, and teamwork skills, among others. Those participating design, test, build and race a car, while procuring sponsorships and managing the budget with travel, equipment and other costs.
